I made this dragon piñata for my son’s 4th birthday party, which had a dragons, knights, and castles theme. I could not have done it without a great deal of coaching from Brian, as I had never made a piñata before, much less a 3 foot tall structural piñata. It was a huge hit, and my little guy loved watching, and helping, each step of the way.

What a fantastic job! The whole party theme was amazing — Sir Declan must have felt like a king as much as a knight. And I love that he was able to witness and participate in the building of the dragon piñata. Seeing the process first-hand is an important part of helping kids understand that some things take time but hard work pays off in the end.
