Mr. Fish la tercera

brc-pinata2015

For my friend’s annual Mexican Christmas party (although none of us are Mexican).

Thanks for the crepe paper ruffling tip. Also the tip regarding wrapping balloon first in dry paper. All worked great. It’s about a foot x 18″, made in 2 days. Did one layer of printer paper to get the white bits without painting.

Your website rocks. Made my building experience easier, more enjoyable and better.

Oh – and it’s hanging from the tip of an old Halloween costume, which was a 2-man Venician Gondola. I cut one end off the Gondola and turned the rest into an 8′ high bookshelf (like people do with old cedar canoes up north).

Nice! I think that’s the one thing I remember most from all my childhood family Christmas parties was smashing the piñata. My aunt and uncle had one every year — even though none of us were Mexican either. 🙂
