This guy was a bit of a challenge but, completely worth it!! He was 52 inches in circumference and extremities were approximately 3 feet long.
I used felt and poster board for his extremities and sewed his hands and feet and stuffed them with fluff from a stuffed animal, shhhh – (my daughter’s, one that she doesn’t like that I keep finding on the floor)…..
I didn’t use mache on his arms and legs which was a big mistake, I kept having to retape the bend but, everything turned out very well anyway… 🙂

That’s amazing! It must have taken forever to decorate. I love the stuffed hands and feet — your daughter’s poor stuffed animal did not die in vain. 🙂
Thank you!!! True, easy to get attached……
I have never sacrificed a stuffed animal, but we’ve sometimes used pillow stuffing from a craft store. The hair and tail of the Feepit are pillow stuffing, and so is Santa’s beard on the Santa Smiley piñata.
