I made this little guy using one balloon. The horns are paper mache, covered in Elmers glue to give the shiny look then spray painted. For the arms and legs I made fabric tubes and stuffed with batting. The feet are made out of painted Styrofoam. I made the clws by dripping hot glue over the edge of a bowl. After it cooled I trimmed them into points and painted them, then glued them onto the feet and hands. I use a LOT of hot glue on my pinatas. I’m still trying to master the openings for the candy so I will use your suggestion.

I love the idea for making the claws — really creative! And it’s hard to hide the candy door on a painted piñata — sometimes it’s going to be visible, but hey, it’s okay, it’s a piñata!
