
This was for my grandson’s birthday. I used the traditional way of making curls to decorate the pinata. They are called “chinos” in Spanish. I learned this technique from an old man in a small town in Mexico. It is painstaking work, but I love the final look, it is so fluffy.

I love it! He’s lucky to have a grandma who’s willing to put in the time to make a special piñata. The curls look fantastic!
