I’m making a 1 pinata for kids mostly under 4 but some adults will hit it I’m sure. I currently have 1 and am applying #2. .
Number 1 pinata
Answer from Piñata Boy
The corners where two flat sides meet are the most likely places for a piñata like this to break open. Two layers of papier mâché should be enough. Since you’re starting with corrugated cardboard, you’ll want adults hitting the piñata unless you have intentionally left some of the corners weak and open for the kids to break open.
If you want to create weak points so the kids can break it open without any adult help, take a razor knife and cut along some of the corners and leave those slices open, only hiding them with the decorating.
Good luck!
