For my son’s birthday party, I am making individual pinatas with party favors inside for each kid instead of having one big pinata. The party is in 2 months but I want to get started on the pinatas now so I don’t have to rush getting them done. Can I make them that far in advance?

Yes, and I actually recommend getting an early start, because piñatas often take longer than expected, and if your schedule is anything like mine, it has a tendency to suddenly close in on you when you already have other things planned. Just be sure to store the piñatas somewhere safe from insects.
