First time ever working with paper mache. Had a lot of fun with building it. I used a 42 inch crescent moon helium balloon. 2 layers of paper mache, 2 layers of cheesecloth mache, and then 1 of each again. The same little hole I left to pull the balloon out and fill with the flower leis, glitter, and pop rocks. I also used that hole to hang it. I cut a thick shovel handle about 12 inch wrapped it in duct tape and tied the rope in the middle. It worked out really well and everyone got a chance to hit it!
